# IPTV Player Pro vs Car Play Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: Car Play Connect at free with in-app purchases against IPTV Player Pro's subscription. Car Play Connect also leads on ratings volume (229 vs 5). IPTV Player Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Car Play Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Player Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Car Play Connect has 229 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IPTV Player Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, Car Play Connect every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
