# Cookie Head vs MyKavaBar

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyKavaBar at every 10 days against Cookie Head's every 6 months. MyKavaBar also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Cookie Head's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (293 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cookie Head holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cookie Head has 293 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Cookie Head's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyKavaBar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cookie Head ships an update every 6 months, MyKavaBar every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
