# Routine5 vs Day

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Routine5 at none against Day's 1. Routine5 also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.6). Day's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Routine5 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Routine5 ships an update every 4 months, Day every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
