# Book Creator vs Aetheryte

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aetheryte at 100% against Book Creator's 44%. Aetheryte also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). Book Creator's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 42) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Book Creator sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Aetheryte sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aetheryte holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Book Creator has 3.8K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Book Creator's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aetheryte's.

Book Creator ships an update every 5 days, Aetheryte monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
