# AIS Explorer vs Notify

The clearest difference is ads: Notify at none against AIS Explorer's shown. Notify also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AIS Explorer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.00 per month and Notify sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AIS Explorer ships an update monthly, Notify every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
