# LingoLooper vs Cappy

The clearest difference is ads: Cappy at none against LingoLooper's shown. LingoLooper's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingoLooper sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Cappy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cappy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoLooper has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
