# LingoLooper vs Langula

The clearest difference is rating: LingoLooper at 4.8 against Langula's 3.7. LingoLooper also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). Langula's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingoLooper sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Langula sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LingoLooper holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoLooper has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LingoLooper ships an update fortnightly, Langula every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
