# Elixir vs Staraxy

Elixir and Staraxy both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of Staraxy's written reviews are positive against 64% of Elixir's. Staraxy also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Elixir's advantage is ratings volume (566 vs 10). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elixir sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Staraxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Elixir against 4.7 for Staraxy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elixir has 566 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Elixir's written reviews are positive against 88% of Staraxy's.

Elixir ships an update monthly, Staraxy weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
