# Brick Bash!! vs Drop the Drop

The clearest difference is rating: Drop the Drop at 4.7 against Brick Bash!!'s 4.0. Drop the Drop also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 14) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Brick Bash!!'s advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brick Bash!! sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Drop the Drop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drop the Drop holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drop the Drop has 2.4K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Brick Bash!!'s written reviews are positive against 20% of Drop the Drop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brick Bash!! ships an update every 6 weeks, Drop the Drop fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
