# Quintext vs LuXOR

The clearest difference is update cadence: Quintext at every 3 weeks against LuXOR's every 5 months. Quintext also leads on iOS requirement (16.2 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quintext sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LuXOR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quintext ships an update every 3 weeks, LuXOR every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
