# Quintext vs Tile Five

The clearest difference is monetization model: Tile Five at free against Quintext's free with in-app purchases. Tile Five also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quintext sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tile Five sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Quintext against 5.0 for Tile Five. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 6 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Quintext ships an update every 3 weeks, Tile Five every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
