# Japer AI vs GhostWriter AI Pro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Japer AI at 570 against GhostWriter AI Pro's 1. Japer AI also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Japer AI sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and GhostWriter AI Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GhostWriter AI Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Japer AI has 570 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Japer AI's written reviews are positive against 50% of GhostWriter AI Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Japer AI ships an update every 2 weeks, GhostWriter AI Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
