# Japer AI vs Waydar

The clearest difference is ads: Waydar at none against Japer AI's shown. Waydar also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Japer AI's advantage is ratings volume (570 vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Japer AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Waydar sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Waydar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Japer AI has 570 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
