# Group SMS vs Mass Message

The clearest difference is ads: Group SMS at none against Mass Message's shown. Group SMS also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Group SMS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mass Message sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
