# COE Works vs MentorPRO

The clearest difference is rating: COE Works at 5.0 against MentorPRO's 4.0. MentorPRO's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

COE Works holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MentorPRO has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

COE Works ships an update every 3 months, MentorPRO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
