# HelpTech+ vs QR Code Maker

The clearest difference is ads: HelpTech+ at none against QR Code Maker's shown. QR Code Maker's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HelpTech+ ships an update every 3 months, QR Code Maker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
