# Saber vs Quick Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Saber at 4.0 against Quick Notes's 1.0. Saber also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (21 vs 1). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Saber holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saber has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Saber ships an update fortnightly, Quick Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
