# ScreenKing vs Addons

The clearest difference is rating: Addons at 4.6 against ScreenKing's 3.8. Addons also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 43%) and ratings volume (350 vs 35). ScreenKing's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScreenKing sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Addons sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Addons holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Addons has 350 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of ScreenKing's written reviews are positive against 60% of Addons's.

ScreenKing ships an update weekly, Addons every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
