# Philips Home Access vs WCV APP

The clearest difference is rating: WCV APP at 4.6 against Philips Home Access's 3.7. Philips Home Access's advantage is review sentiment (26% vs 0%) and ratings volume (547 vs 17). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WCV APP holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Philips Home Access has 547 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Philips Home Access's written reviews are positive against 0% of WCV APP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Philips Home Access ships an update every 2 weeks, WCV APP fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
