# NEMC vs AI Chat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NEMC at none against AI Chat's 3. NEMC also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). AI Chat's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. NEMC asks for nothing beyond the download.

NEMC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Chat has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NEMC ships an update monthly, AI Chat every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
