# Nekograms+ vs Block Blast!+

The clearest difference is monetization model: Block Blast!+ at free against Nekograms+'s paid. Block Blast!+ also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 120) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Block Blast!+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Blast!+ has 3.2K ratings behind it against 120, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Nekograms+'s written reviews are positive against 80% of Block Blast!+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nekograms+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Block Blast!+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
