# TechShiba vs SubTel Forum

The clearest difference is update cadence: SubTel Forum at every 5 days against TechShiba's fortnightly. TechShiba's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TechShiba ships an update fortnightly, SubTel Forum every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
