# Accelerated Texas Ethics vs The Philosopher

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Philosopher at every 10 days against Accelerated Texas Ethics's every 4 weeks. Accelerated Texas Ethics's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accelerated Texas Ethics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and The Philosopher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Accelerated Texas Ethics ships an update every 4 weeks, The Philosopher every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
