# OttPlayertv vs StreamSG

The clearest difference is rating: StreamSG at 5.0 against OttPlayertv's 4.5. OttPlayertv's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (9.3K vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StreamSG sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. OttPlayertv asks for nothing beyond the download.

StreamSG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OttPlayertv has 9.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OttPlayertv ships an update fortnightly, StreamSG every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
