# Chain 3! vs Pest Control

The clearest difference is rating: Pest Control at 5.0 against Chain 3!'s 4.6. Chain 3!'s advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chain 3! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Pest Control sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pest Control holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chain 3! has 3.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Chain 3! ships an update every 10 days, Pest Control every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
