# Day Planner vs TaskCard

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskCard at every 5 days against Day Planner's every 2 months. TaskCard also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Day Planner's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TaskCard sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Day Planner against 5.0 for TaskCard. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Day Planner ships an update every 2 months, TaskCard every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
