# SIG CONNECT vs GWSCAN

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GWSCAN at none against SIG CONNECT's 9. GWSCAN also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 53%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). SIG CONNECT's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIG CONNECT sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. GWSCAN asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIG CONNECT holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIG CONNECT has 711 ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of SIG CONNECT's written reviews are positive against 68% of GWSCAN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SIG CONNECT ships an update every 3 weeks, GWSCAN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
