# SIG CONNECT vs Maker Garage

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Maker Garage at none against SIG CONNECT's 9. Maker Garage also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). SIG CONNECT's advantage is ratings volume (712 vs 1) and chart position (#148 vs unranked). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIG CONNECT sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Maker Garage asks for nothing beyond the download.

Maker Garage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIG CONNECT has 712 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SIG CONNECT ships an update every 3 weeks, Maker Garage every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
