# Fluent vs iPolyglot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iPolyglot at 79% against Fluent's 0%. iPolyglot also leads on ratings volume (106 vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). Fluent's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluent sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and iPolyglot sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fluent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPolyglot has 106 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Fluent's written reviews are positive against 79% of iPolyglot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fluent ships an update every 3 weeks, iPolyglot every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
