# Opentown vs VCollabRadar

The clearest difference is ads: Opentown at none against VCollabRadar's shown. VCollabRadar's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Opentown sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and VCollabRadar sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Opentown ships an update monthly, VCollabRadar every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
