# Railway Master Tycoon vs 8Pack

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 8Pack at 100% against Railway Master Tycoon's 53%. 8Pack also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Railway Master Tycoon's advantage is ratings volume (169 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Railway Master Tycoon sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and 8Pack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

8Pack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Railway Master Tycoon has 169 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Railway Master Tycoon's written reviews are positive against 100% of 8Pack's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
