# Unicorn Pro vs MyType

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MyType at 100% against Unicorn Pro's 38%. MyType also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). Unicorn Pro's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unicorn Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MyType asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyType holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2.
