# Unicorn Pro vs NoPing

The clearest difference is monetization model: Unicorn Pro at free against NoPing's free with in-app purchases. NoPing's advantage is ratings volume (386 vs 18). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unicorn Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoPing sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Unicorn Pro against 4.3 for NoPing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoPing has 386 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 38% of Unicorn Pro's written reviews are positive against 32% of NoPing's.

Unicorn Pro ships an update every 8 days, NoPing fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
