# XLSX Sheets vs Table & Spreadsheet Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Table & Spreadsheet Maker at 78% against XLSX Sheets's 22%. Table & Spreadsheet Maker also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). XLSX Sheets's advantage is ratings volume (3.3K vs 10) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XLSX Sheets sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Table & Spreadsheet Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

XLSX Sheets holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XLSX Sheets has 3.3K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of XLSX Sheets's written reviews are positive against 78% of Table & Spreadsheet Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

XLSX Sheets ships an update monthly, Table & Spreadsheet Maker weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
