# Alien Tentacles vs Ocean Master

The clearest difference is rating: Ocean Master at 4.8 against Alien Tentacles's 1.0. Ocean Master also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alien Tentacles sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Ocean Master sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ocean Master holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ocean Master has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Alien Tentacles ships an update every 8 months, Ocean Master every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
