# Thunder Pro vs Transcript Master

The clearest difference is rating: Thunder Pro at 4.6 against Transcript Master's 1.0. Thunder Pro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thunder Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Transcript Master sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thunder Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thunder Pro has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thunder Pro ships an update fortnightly, Transcript Master monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
