# ZpeakUp vs CapWords

The clearest difference is rating: CapWords at 4.7 against ZpeakUp's 4.0. CapWords also leads on ratings volume (614 vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). ZpeakUp's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZpeakUp sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and CapWords sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CapWords holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CapWords has 614 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ZpeakUp's written reviews are positive against 72% of CapWords's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ZpeakUp ships an update every 3 weeks, CapWords every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
