# Reviver vs Good Chat

The clearest difference is rating: Good Chat at 4.8 against Reviver's 4.5. Reviver's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 57%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reviver sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Good Chat sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Good Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 107 and 82 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Reviver's written reviews are positive against 57% of Good Chat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reviver ships an update every 3 weeks, Good Chat every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
