# SimFit vs PROTOGEN Band

The clearest difference is update cadence: PROTOGEN Band at every 3 days against SimFit's every 5 months. SimFit's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SimFit ships an update every 5 months, PROTOGEN Band every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
