# SIM vs MV Remote

SIM and MV Remote are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. SIM sells 24 one-off in-app purchases and MV Remote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SIM ships an update every 2 weeks, MV Remote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
