# D vs NETGEAR App

The clearest difference is rating: D at 4.0 against NETGEAR App's 2.7. D also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18). NETGEAR App's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

D holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of D's written reviews are positive against 14% of NETGEAR App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

D ships an update every 3 months, NETGEAR App monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
