# LiveWell vs THE LAB

The clearest difference is update cadence: THE LAB at monthly against LiveWell's every 5 months. LiveWell's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LiveWell ships an update every 5 months, THE LAB monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
