# Primal vs Thrilld

The clearest difference is rating: Primal at 4.9 against Thrilld's 4.0. Primal also leads on ratings volume (928 vs 4). Thrilld's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Primal sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Thrilld asks for nothing beyond the download.

Primal holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Primal has 928 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Primal's written reviews are positive against 100% of Thrilld's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Primal ships an update every 2 weeks, Thrilld every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
