# Simulado CNH vs DMV Permit Test Practice Prep

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DMV Permit Test Practice Prep at 100% against Simulado CNH's 35%. DMV Permit Test Practice Prep also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (68 vs 12). Simulado CNH's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simulado CNH sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and DMV Permit Test Practice Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simulado CNH holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DMV Permit Test Practice Prep has 68 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Simulado CNH's written reviews are positive against 100% of DMV Permit Test Practice Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Simulado CNH ships an update every 2 months, DMV Permit Test Practice Prep every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
