# Preptly vs SAT Practice Exam

The clearest difference is rating: Preptly at 4.3 against SAT Practice Exam's 3.0. Preptly also leads on ratings volume (247 vs 2). SAT Practice Exam's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Preptly sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and SAT Practice Exam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Preptly holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Preptly has 247 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Preptly ships an update every 3 weeks, SAT Practice Exam every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
