# Hallmark Cards Now vs Glow Bug

The clearest difference is monetization model: Glow Bug at free against Hallmark Cards Now's free with in-app purchases. Glow Bug also leads on iOS requirement (11.2 vs 16.6). Hallmark Cards Now's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Hallmark Cards Now against 5.0 for Glow Bug. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hallmark Cards Now has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
