# Folder Time vs Audio Extractor

The clearest difference is rating: Folder Time at 5.0 against Audio Extractor's 4.5. Folder Time also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 26 months). Audio Extractor's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.2). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audio Extractor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Folder Time asks for nothing beyond the download.

Folder Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audio Extractor has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Folder Time ships an update weekly, Audio Extractor every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
