# Unpluq vs ExRx.net Workout Tools

The clearest difference is rating: Unpluq at 4.8 against ExRx.net Workout Tools's 4.0. Unpluq also leads on ratings volume (927 vs 7). ExRx.net Workout Tools's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 54%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unpluq sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and ExRx.net Workout Tools sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unpluq holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unpluq has 927 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Unpluq's written reviews are positive against 67% of ExRx.net Workout Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Unpluq ships an update every 3 weeks, ExRx.net Workout Tools every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
