# AI Chat vs ChatBot Pro

The clearest difference is ads: ChatBot Pro at none against AI Chat's shown. ChatBot Pro also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (84% vs 76%). AI Chat's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 281) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and ChatBot Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 281 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of AI Chat's written reviews are positive against 84% of ChatBot Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Chat ships an update every 4 months, ChatBot Pro every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
