# Evernote vs FocusLapse

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FocusLapse at 100% against Evernote's 50%. FocusLapse also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). Evernote's advantage is ratings volume (78K vs 8) and chart position (#31 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Evernote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $13.95 per month. FocusLapse asks for nothing beyond the download.

FocusLapse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evernote has 78K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Evernote's written reviews are positive against 100% of FocusLapse's.
